Since its founding in 1953, Saint Clare’s has made caring for children a special part of our mission. We currently provide a 12-bed Pediatrics Department in Denville, augmented by a dedicated children’s emergency department (The Evelyn M. Spiro Pediatric Emergency Department). In addition, in 2003, we added the Children’s Neurology and Epilepsy Program.

Saint Clare’s Hospital/Denville now plans for construction of the Roberta C. Ferguson Pediatric Center, a state-of-the-art pediatrics center to match our high level of care. The current unit is outdated, with small rooms, shared bathrooms and décor that is not “kid friendly.” In order to allow the program to achieve its full potential in the years ahead, we need to improve our physical plant, renovate and expand the unit to include all private rooms with the latest equipment, a new reception/welcome area, a functional treatment room, a Family Center and meeting room for private consultations, an interactive play area, and rooms that are especially designed and decorated for children.  “Roberta’s Center” will truly be a special place for children’s health and healing.
